The Color Collaborative is a nonprofit public art organization that transforms people and spaces through community-engaged art.

We are a full- service design studio working with organizations, schools, companies and municipalities to create murals that breathe life into spaces and promote mindfulness and mental health.

In 2021, the American Academy of Pediatrics declared a National Emergency in youth mental health, which disproportionately affects low income youth and youth of color. Our communities need to develop multi-faceted public mental health campaigns to address this crisis.

Imagined Worlds is our work to meet this need. With The Color Collaborative, people create murals answering the question:

What would a world look like where you feel happy and safe?
